We used CubeSmart for a few months as we were transitioning between homes. It was an easy and affordable short term option for us to store items we didn’t need every day. (Ours was 5x10 I believe and happy we got a space where we could stand up and walk around). It was also easy to set up an account online and to terminate after we moved into our new home. Rebecca, who works in the front office was always very helpful!

!!!THIS COMPANY BROKE THE LAW!!! Absolutely by far the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Auctioned off my unit with zero contact, except for an email sent to me FOUR DAYS before selling it because the card I had on file wasn't up to date. NC law requires a minimum of fifteen days notice for a pending disposal sale. I'll be reporting this company to the BBB and you'll all be hearing from my lawyer. Disgusting business practice, absolutely sickening. Selling people's things under their noses for a quick buck, you all should be ASHAMED!! Edit:: in response to the reply-- I reached out to that email FIVE hours ago (before you replied in the first place) and have gotten NO response as of yet. Thanks for the canned response with zero actual follow-up. Shows how *fantastic* your customer service actually is and further proves my point how little you guys do your own jobs. Also shout out to the website for giving me the "district managers number" which was a fake number. Y'all should've gotten sued a long time ago.

Don’t trust CubeSmart! I rented a 10’ X 20’ storage unit for a car. The online system required me to fill out multiple details about my car, vin, license plate etc. When arrived, the unit could not accommodate a car. As a result, I had to also rent a parking space, now paying 2X. Total bait and switch.

I use this place because of its proximity to my house. Otherwise I’d look elsewhere. Pretty sure the owner knows that based on the constant rate hikes. I think all storage play the rent creep game, but this one is definitely worse than the units I had elsewhere. Gate has been broken several times, and many days it’s just left open which means anyone can just drive in. I’m currently shopping for a similar sized storage shed for my home because the rent here is almost the same price as shed payments and at least I’d own that in the end. I will say the people running the office have always been friendly and helpful the few times I’ve needed them.

It’s a good place to store your items. I never really had any problems with the storage unit except dust and dirt accumulating at the entrance of the unit. I recommend sweeping every week or two if you’ll be there long term. Staff members were nice and helpful. Prices kept going up so I had to take my stuff out. Overall, a good experience.

The people that work at this facility are wonderful, however the price of a unit goes up constantly. I started out paying next to nothing for my unit and now it’s almost $100/month for a small non-air conditioned unit. I’ve had the unit for barely a year. I can’t wait until I move in a few months and can get my stuff out of storage. Sell your stuff or store it with a friend! They raise prices every couple of months for no reason and no notice!

My only complaint is that the rental fee is a bit misleading, and it was not until I was ready to pay that I was made aware of the $24 "administrative fee". Considering that I only needed to rent the unit for a month, this is a pretty hefty fee. I think this should be more transparent, and I question what exactly $24 of administrative fees gets you anyway. Sounds like a way to get some extra $$ out of your customers to me.

My storage room was very clean before I moved my things into the storage unit. The office staff is very professional and friendly. The office manger answered the phone when called and he was very understanding and patient with me. I had a pleasant experience with Cube Smart.

I had recently relocated and needed to store my vehicle at a location where it could be picked up later by an auto transport company. Michelle at CubeSmart understood exactly what I needed and took wonderful care of the situation, letting me know what her office needed from me and staying in communication with me while I waited for the auto transport company to confirm the pickup date and the driver's name. Michelle let me know as soon as the driver picked up the vehicle and she immediately closed out my account once it was picked up, saving me from having to remember that one last step. I couldn't be happier with the excellent customer service I received from Michelle and her staff at this CubeSmart and I highly recommend them if you are in a similar situation.

I love this location! I’ve been with them since 2015, and I’ve never thought of storing anywhere else. It's safe, convenient, well-lit, and the customer service is professional yet personal. Michelle, Aimee and Givon are like family to me, and they’re always around the property keeping it clean, orderly and well-maintained. They’ve even brought packages out to me at my unit that I had delivered to their office. Now that’s customer service! My experience was fine. Not exemplary, not awful. The manager (Michelle) was accommodating in letting me look at all sizes and choose one. She told me that the previous renter had stored her car in the unit (D20). I did not realize the large spot on the middle of the floor was gasoline until late Friday night when we started to bring in furniture to store. I wish she had told me that. The smell can be noticed from inside the unit only. Otherwise, the encounter was fine. I dont know if the experience my sister had the next day when she went to use the complimentary truck. I do know it started out badly and got beter.

To start, Tiffany is awesome! My husband and I came to look at a storage unit because we plan to be moving to the area over the summer. I had a last minute situation arise and I needed a storage unit. The morning of move-in, the process wasn’t going as smoothly as planned due to circumstances beyond our control. I didn’t have a lot of things to move, which is why I was still scheduled to work at 11 that morning. Again, I expected to be completed by then, but that wasn’t the case. Once things were started, I found myself on a time crunch to make it in time for work. Michelle and Marisha helped me move my things into my unit to be on time for work. They were a BIG help. I would have been super late to work had it not been for those two friendly, courteous, and generous employees that helped me. I thank them very much.

Was helping someone move and ended up there after hours. No security or staff came to say that they lock you in. Emergency lockout code didn't work, and the emergency contact couldn't be reached. It took 2.5 hours to get a code to get out, and the phone rep was snarky: "You can just leave the truck and walk out the door if you don't want to wait." I was helping a woman who is partially disabled and couldn't just leave. You guys lose any potential business from me or anyone I know.

I was never a customer, but I frequently visited a customer's unit here. Much larger units than I'm used to seeing. And they allowed one to work out of the units. The person renting the unit used it as a wood shop. Most other places don't usually allow that.

The light didn't work in the storage cube and it was so dark my ride didn't was so scared and I needed her to go back and lock the cub so that inconvenience me from doing all I had to do because I'm in a emergency state right now. It was so dark by the T'S she was rushing me so all my things are not in the cub but other than that it was clean I'm guessing due not being able to see but I'm really glad you're they to help.

I've been renting space at CubeSmart for over 3 years, and I must say that the customer service is amazing. Gloria has been a gem from day one, always willing to help whenever she can. She is always bending over backwards to make sure your needs are met. She goes well beyond what one would expect of a great employee. Since Aisha has taken over as General Manager the place looks better, runs so much more efficiently than it had. She is always respectful, has a smile for her customers and and works hard to make sure your needs are met to the best of her ability. What a great team. If you need to rent a storage unit or a parking space, I wouldnt recommend going anywhere else. I"m leaving a five star review only because it wont let me leave six stars. Try them, you wont be disappointed.

The facility had good safety measures and on-site management. They even have rental trucks for moving. It was my first time renting a storage facility, and it was a pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend it to friends!

I looked at several storage units, and chose Cube Smart because of the customer service I received from Gloria and Aisha. To me, a storage unit is just 4 walls and a locked gate. They are all the same. However, Gloria and Aisha had such positive attitudes, were so helpful and friendly, that I knew I could count on them if I ever needed any kind of assistance. The other storage places were fine, but I felt that to them, I was just another customer. Gloria and Aisha made me feel like they really cared about me being completely satisfied with my experience at their facility. Great Customer Service. The Staff is extremely friendly and do their best to accommodate you. Facility is clean and security is tight. Great location for downtown Cary area. Monthly charges seem high and the fact they charge for online payments seem ridiculous.

i do my homework, and they have the best customer service and the best prices in the area for storage. Gloria was very accommodating in answering any questions during our search, and Ken was very helpful in showing us the unit and helping us to feel comfortable in choosing a place to store our things. The unit was very clean, well lit and had easy access. The grounds are also clean, well lit, secure and safe. We're confident and very happy with our decision.

The process to rent a space at CubeSmart was very easy. We called and was quoted a good price for the size unit we needed. The next day we went to the facility to look at the unit. The customer service that was provided by Gloria Hall was outstanding. She was very friendly, knowledgeable, professional and extremely helpful during the reservation process. We moved from one self storage company to CubeSmart and glad we did.
