They didn't take a partial payment and sold my stuff. I got emails and recorded conversations with the manager stating he would work with me. He kept stating they couldn't take a partial payment...why I asked he said that was corporates decision. That's not the case I called corporate, they stated he could. THEY WILL LIE TOO YOU HERE DO NOT GO HERE.

This facility was taken over by Cubesmart a few months ago TLDR the new corp is national and sloppy and not worth dealing with, messes up all billing and won’t communicate with you directly. I had a unit with the previous ownership and never had any issues, since cube smart took over they have over billed me for every single month for 4 months. Including the first month where they charged me 4x normal rent because they said they weren’t sure how much to charge me so it seems they just guessed a number 4x a pretty standard cost? Every time they do mess it up I have to call their corporate line to speak with someone who has no access to billing or the units, management doesn’t have a phone number or email they expect you to call corporate who leaves an internal memo for management who they promise will get back to you when they are ready with no time estimate. Generally a week or two later someone who is NOT management will call saying management offered to just comp the next month(s) for the overcharge but the person calling can’t offer a refund instead because again, management has to do that and is unreachable. Storage units are basically a scam they are so easy to run. Keep the gate working and take our money and cubesmart can’t do either of those correctly.

Mr. Dave Syzmanski, a fine gentleman and the General Manager of the CubeSmart on Pearl St. in Boulder, went far out of his way to help us to resolve several complex issues relating to financial/billing reconciliation and the status of our account. Mr. Syzmanski was courteous, professional, polite and unhesitatingly diligent. He stopped other matters on which he was working to complete an in-person inspection of the storage locker in order to obtain and confirm needed data. Having done so, he gave to me the courtesy of a return telephone call and sent to me a confirming e-mail message. I cannot thank him enough for all he did for us (thank you!), all so willingly and respectfully. Because he understands the importance of being reasonable and doing things correctly, Mr. Syzmanski resolved all outstanding issues completely and satisfactorily in a short time. I definitely recommend him to anyone who appreciates a fair and honest businessperson.

Check the dates on positive reviews! This facility was recently acquired by Cubesmart, the positive reviews are for the previous company. Cubesmart failed to notify customers of the acquisition, made numerous errors in accounting and billing (and continues to do so), and does not adequately staff the location or answer the phone during office hours. I only learned Cubesmart acquired the facility when I received an email from them stating that I was late on payments and owed both a late fee and an insurance fee (I have my own insurance). I could not reach anyone via phone, and had to visit the office THREE TIMES during their stated hours before I found someone there. They are raising prices, and this location is already pretty rough compared to other storage facilities. My outdoor unit was constantly full of dust/ash/mouse poop. This company does not care about you or your stuff, they are a publicly traded property investment company that runs storage facilities. Please rent somewhere else, you are asking for trouble by using this company. All those positive reviews you see for Louis and Rebecca? Those are for the former US Storage Center staff, they ain't there anymore.

Giving one star because negative stars was not an option. I have had absolutely horrible experiences with this company. The 24/7 phone line to pay your bill disconnects before it allows you to pay and the online payment also does not work. It seems like a scam making it impossible to pay resulting in late fees. More than that their gate stopped working when I was inside and there was no number that anyone would answer to open the gate. This is the first time I’ve ever written a review. The experience had been so terrible that i don’t want anyone else to be put through their bull shit!

By far, the worst customer service I have ever had. I reserved the unit the beginning of July and paid for it through the end of August. I did this over the phone with Louis, the manager. I made him aware that I wouldn't be to Boulder until July 24 and he said "no problem". I arrived the 24th with 2 car loads of items. Rebecca was working and she finanlized the contract by taking my drivers license and sold me the lock. She took me to the unit, only to discover there was already a lock on it. All she said was "sorry" I asked if we could have a larger unit. She said "yes" but we would have to pay the difference. My son asked if we could store our items in the larger unit until they figured out a solution, for their mistake. Again, she said "no". She said she couldnt do anything since she wasn't the manager and she didn't know when he'd be back. I live over an hour away and didn't have time to wait around. We drove to the facility next door, StorQuest, met with a wonderful employee and rented a unit with them. I went back to US, I asked Rebecca to refund the full amount for the storage unit. She said she would " make a request". I asked to be reimbursed for the lock. She said "no, its not in the original package". I reminded her she took it out of the package less than 20 minutes ago. Then she just stopped talking to me. She ignored my questions. Took phone calls. Typed on the computer. The card on the counter says she is the assistant manager. If she can't preform simple tasks, then her job title needs to change. She called me the next day to tell me they have a "much nicer" unit for me. I reminded her that we rented with the place next door and I wanted to be refunded. Again, she said "ill put in a request". I never did receive a call or apology from Louis. I would not recommend this place ever. I wouldn't even give it 1 star, but there isn't a 0 star option.

I had a bit of confusion with pricing at first, but US Storage in Boulder really came through. There was a glitch in their system that showed a higher price than I was initially quoted. I was worried, but the staff handled it great. Louis quickly got me in touch with Aaron, the district manager. Aaron reached out right away, figured out the problem, and made sure I got the unit at the original price I was quoted. No fuss, no hassle. Great service, friendly staff, and they actually solved the problem. Would definitely recommend if you need storage in Boulder.

Not great customer service. It was super unclear what I was paying for. When I signed up, I was under the impression I was paying starting mid month, and only paying for 2 months. Was annoyed when I got charged for a third month. When I booked it online the fee was $98 per month and somehow I ended up paying $120-$140/ month with the hidden fees. Would love it if they were more transparent about their system. Won’t be using this place again. It’s just a bunch of connex boxes in a parking lot. Chose this because it was cheap but the price I ended up paying I could have gone to a nicer storage company. The front desk people were nice, just not super helpful

The front gate's broken for 3 weeks after somebody cuts the chain to open the gate illegally breaking in here after hours and ripping open a unit with I believe a pickup truck it hasn't been fixed. It's just swinging in the breeze. There's broken glass all over the ground in here. You got to swerve around and there's freaking one entrance because the other entrance was broken for nearly a month. All they needed to do was fix a bike chain that pulls the gate open and closed but they didn't have the expertise to do that. It took almost a month. Could have fixed it the same day. Also really got to grind my gear about the fact that it says 6:00 a.m. and I get here at 6:15 and it's saying you need to see the manager and the gate's not going to open and it's closed and it should have been open 15 minutes ago. Pretty unsatisfactory considering not asking for a lot and it's pain in the butt to get your account set up for this company have yet to do it

US Storage Centers in Boulder came highly recommended by some friends. I called several storage places and US Storage Centers was the only place that answered the phone. I have spoken with them on several occasions and they were friendly, helpful and their prices are fair. Caleb helped me reserve a storage unit and I am happy to recommend them.

The organization I work for has been using US Storage Centers for the past few years. We enjoy using this facility to store items offsite when they are not needed, and like the convenience of how close to our office this establishment is. Louis at the front desk is super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the locking mechanisms on the units themselves. They can be a pain to open and maneuver, and we've noticed that bees/wasps like to create nests inside of them in the warmer summer months. We just make sure to take a look at the locks before sticking our hand up in there to unlock them. Overall, this storage unit facility is great with more heavy duty units than your typical storage unit facilities with garage like doors. If you are looking for more of an easy open, climate controlled storage unit, I suggest another facility. But thank you US Storage Centers for being so great to us.

Just received a letter from a collection agency for rent that I do not owe. I moved out while They changed ownership and this place is so unorganized. After I moved out no one removed me from the system. 3 different people called me telling me I was late on my rent and I explained to every single one that I had moved my stuff out and owe nothing. There was not a single note anywhere from any of the previous people I talked to. The third person acted like she didn’t believe that I was moved out and had to go check for herself. Terrible customer service, extremely unorganized, the employees are confused and have no idea what’s going on.

Updated 12/26/23: I received good customer service during my first two interactions with this company. I was very eagerly prompted to leave a review. As someone who appreciates good service (and recognizes that national chains don't always support their ground-level folks the way they deserve), I left a positive review. Since then, every interaction I've had with this company has been confusing, frustrating, lazy, and at times, downright misleading. Choose a different storage facility.

My belongings were damaged by rodents and covered in droppings and brown stinky dust. I am extremely disappointed with the new management. Their phone based customer service is run through call centers who are incompetent and do not rely information appropriately. When I spoke with the manager to this regard, she said it was not in her control and she refused to take responsibility for their miscommunication. She is unprofessional and inappropriate. The desk folks were kind when I came in, but overall I would not recommend this place!

I would not recommend renting a storage unit from US storage center, the property manger Melanie lacks professionalism and class. The company Westport the property management agency is structured to penalize you at every turn with hidden fees, rate increases and mandatory insurance. The facility has a rat infestation while leasing a unit at this center, I found rat droppings in my unit and water damage in my unit. Which they will not reimburse, not only is the property management team unhelpful they are vindictive and rude. I do not recommend leasing a unit at this facility.

I am so glad that my family and I found our perfect little storage unit a few weeks ago, it has opened up so much of our living space to be more effectively utilized and it has been so tremendously beneficial. I have only needed to go into the office twice so far (once after the initial sign up and once to pay in cash since I didn’t have the funds on my card yet) and both times I’ve been lucky enough to be assisted by Jason who is super helpful, sweet, funny, and personable (which is honestly a million times better of an experience than I had at my old storage company). The computer system can run a little slow, but Jason is willing to put in the time and effort to wait and push through with it to help make things run as smoothly as possible. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is not into overcomplicated units, is trying to not spend too much money, appreciates quality customer service, and is okay with only having to drive out like 5 minutes from the 29th St. area. (It’s also just a few buildings down from the Harvest of Hope Pantry, so if you require food assistance like my family then it’s a great location to be able to have multiple needs met simultaneously.) ??

My account is paid through this month, rolled up to the gate and entered the code. It says my name and “please see the manager”. No, I need access to my things when I have paid for it and if you need something from me then you can call or email me. If I don’t respond then call/email me again because I’m busy but don’t remove access to my property when I have paid for it. Your mistakes do not equal my problem.

We have used this facility in Boulder for years. Which has always been fantastic and friendly to work with. But, they have new management who is extremely rude. When you call they never answer the phone and mailbox full. When you do finally get a hold of them the manager is very rude and hangs up on you? Definitely not the same company it used to be. Will be moving elsewhere and I would recommend not using this facility.

I've grew up in Boulder, lived there for 36 years and from time to time, my family and I have needed to use storage in-between moves etc.. I have to say that AAA storage in the Old Pearl St district is not only an outstanding company overall, the customer service is beyond outstanding. Neal the general manager is so professional, nice and communicates so we'll. Him and another associate named Natalia have both gone extremely out of their way to help me and my family in any way possible to ensure that we always felt appreciated as clients. Don't think twice about renting a storage unit from anywhere else besides this company if you live in Boulder or any surrounding areas.

I have rented storage space from 2 other storage company's. They raise their rent whenever they feel like it and by any amount. My experience with AAA containers has been great. They are family owned and operated and have been a part of Boulder for many years. My personal items have never been damaged by water or birds, unlike in other storage companies. AAA charges a fair market price. I am very grateful to have found them.

Their storage units are containers used on ships now transported to land in order to store people's possessions. Overpriced in my dad's estimation. Too much dust and weather by products enter the units over time in my opinion. They also have issues with mice or other so-called rodents getting into the unit's so please pack your foodstuffs accordingly. Thank you for your service also it's very very hard to unlock a lock because of the way they have designed the units.

These guys were amazing from day 1 when we desperately needed storage to the last day when we had to leave in a hurry and couldn't take everything. Lance and all of his staff were always amazing. If anyone ever needs storage for a decent price AND want to be treated like human beings I recommend these guys! They worked with us and in the end everyone was happy. We use AAA Storage for our business, and I am constantly moving things in and out and shipping things on pallets for events. The team at AAA Storage are incredibly accommodating and friendly. They even helped me move empty pallets that wouldn't fit in my car! They go above and beyond at every opportunity and never make me feel like a burden or inconvenience. I read a lot of unhappy reviews when it comes to renting U-Haul trucks. I think the experience largely comes down to the people helping you. Eric at AAA Storage Containers (and the rest of the staff) were honest, up front, easy-going, courteous, and friendly. My final bill for an in town rental was within dollars of the estimate. They made it easy and I recommend them for anyone with a similar need.

The operation at AAA Storage Containers is second to none. They have an amazing management team from end to end that is always there to answer my questions and take care of last second needs (which happen often). The rates are very competitive especially if you plan to be there long-term. Making things even easier is that fact that they are a certified U-haul rental center so they can cover your move with ease. Overall, this storage facility is the best I have ever worked with.
